Work for All Ages Productions

All Ages Productions (AAP) is a full-service creative film and video production company in Philadelphia specializing in commercials and branded content across multiple platforms. AAP helps clients and agencies find partners and strategies to maximize the creative potential of each project, with experience across the United States and abroad by the home studio and satellite teams in Los Angeles and Europe.

Philly D.A. — Assistant Editor

While working with AAP on Philly D.A. I functioned as an assistant editor. I prepared episodes for music/soundtrack composition, managed archival footage, sourced footage for promotional material, delivered marketing materials to PBS & Independent Lens, and assisted in a variety of other functions pertaining to the preparation of the series for its television debut.

Comcast Business Rebranding Campaign — Editor

AAP tasked me with editing footage provided by Comcast Business in preparation for an internal rebranding conference. I compiled footage from various discussion panels; created lower-thirds, transitions, and video frames to adhere to Comcast’s visual continuity; and delivered a full, broadcast-ready composition consisting of the individual segments and interstitials.

Work FOR Breaking Glass Pictures

Breaking Glass Pictures (BGP) is a film distribution company based in Philadelphia that specializes in independent films. The company’s catalog includes foreign, dramatic, horror, and LGBTQ titles among a variety of other genres. Because the productions are usually smaller in nature — without the full resources required for marketing and distribution — they have relied on my skills and talents to create comprehensive marketing and distribution packages.

With each film’s Poster Art, I always had a fun challenge. Sometimes art mockups would be delivered to BGP along with the film’s assets, in which case I had a template for the style of the film’s artwork. Most of the time though I had to grab shots from the film, decide on a style, and “Frankenstein” film, stock images, and original art to create art assets.

When designing DVD Wraps, I was required to create a layout for the wrap that matched both the aesthetic and the thematic styles highlighted in the mockup art assets (if any were delivered with the film).

With the DVD Disc Art, I made sure to include relevant technical specifications along the border. Typically I utilized a high-quality still taken from the film and added graphical or illustrative embellishments to create the disc art.

The Sell Sheets represent a standard, informational document required for each film with a planned DVD release. I included as many relevant reviews/laurels/facts for the film to help promote it to retail vendors. Typically, retail vendors use the sell sheet to decide how many copies of a title they would pre-order based on the film’s anticipated demand.
